Waterlines Replacement  & Storm Drain Installation on Side Streets from Lovers Lane to Madera Road

Waterlines Replacement on Estero Boulevard

Phase 2 – from Lovers Lane to Madera Road

The Fort Myers Beach Waterline Replacement Program on Estero Boulevard from Lovers Lane to Madera Road began in October 2016.  Crews have installed 10 and 16-inch water mains on the beach side of Estero Boulevard in this phase.  As of March 2018, all residents and businesses adjacent to Estero Boulevard as well as side streets have been connected to the new mains.

On August 9, 2016, the Town held a preconstruction public information meeting to present construction plans and provide information about the upcoming work.  Click here to view the presentation.

Once the water mains are installed and tested, they will be put in service and individual connections will be made to residences and businesses.

Waterlines – Completed Projects

The reFRESH Waterlines Replacement Program completed installing new water mains on Estero Boulevard from Times Square to the Lovers Lane in early 2016.  Waterlines were also replaced in the Basin Based Neighborhoods off Estero Boulevard, Bay Beach Lane and Laguna Shores.  Future phases of the reFRESH Waterlines program will replace existing water main in other beach neighborhoods until all waterlines on Fort Myers Beach are replaced.
